Abstract The article deals with the procedures for training and selecting judges, providing for a comparative analysis on the recruitment systems in Italy, Germany and France. At first, it will be given an introductory general remark on the pivotal role of training and selection of judges within the judiciary system. Then it will be provided for some information on professional and bureaucratic ways of recruiting. It will be presented initial training, selection, subjects to be examined, and evaluating commission. Another paragraph is dedicated to the various reforms of the Italian judiciary system which have been implemented in the last couple of years. A final paragraph offers some concluding remarks relying on the comparative analysis. |
