Abstract

The Greek revision of 2001, which is the product of an unusual convergence between majority and opposition, concerns a wide range of themes (non including the form of Government). As for rights, many rules have been introduced, among which the safeguard of the evolution of Biomedicine and technology, the strenghtening of the social state, the guarantee of a pluralism of the medias, and, above all, of an effective equality of both sexes. The dispositions about the conflict of interests and the incompatibilities of the Members of Parliament are very clear.The most remarkable innovations are, among the others, the ones concerning the Parliament, justice, public administration and the independent administrative autorities, which are constitutionalized.
