Abstract This contribution aims at giving a brief overview on the legal discipline of family in the Netherlands. After a brief introduction devoted to the possibility to write about a “constitu- tional discipline” of the family, the author moves to the analysis of the main provisions concer- ning the marriage, the registered partnership, the cohabitation, the status of the minor, adop- tion and filiation. In the final part of the paper the author deals with the influence of the ECHR on Dutch family law in the latest years. |
