Abstract A comparative analysis of the regulations regarding private-sector activities by holders of public office. Two normative models (USA and France) are described which in many ways are direct alternatives (re political offices and economic activities, and the legal frameworks for intervention). The Italian normative model is then analysed. Historically this appears analogous to that of France, but actually shows (if only partially and contradictorily) a convergent trend to that of the USA. |
