Abstract Structural Funds’new planning for the period 2000-2006 is now in progress. The Commission has recently proposed two new regulations to reinforce financial management and control as well as financial corrections and has recently adopted new Guidelines for innovative schemes in the regions. Since the ‘70s till nowdays, the political concept and the basic issues of those structurals instruments have strongly changed. The rulings’analysis of Structural Funds together with their chronological history as well as their economical perspective is hereby specified. |
